Game Diagnostics

PHASE 1

After each person of our group created a game prototype, we all got together and broke down 'the good and the bad' in each of them. After situating our pros and cons, we then decided on the most complete title to base our game on.

Multi-player (Co-op) No defense system
PvP Portal was insignificant
Fighting mechanic More fun killing than completing objective
Level design
Random weapon pickup
Limited amount of weapon use
Different BG setting every level

JOHN

PRO CONS
Multiple ways to win/lose More player interaction
Ability to stun the monster More game board interaction
Enemy moves too slow
Each player should have a separate enemy

MIKE

PRO CONS
Competition for most pizzas To complex at start
Upgrade from bike > motorbike > car
Need an objective/limit (time or pizzas)

JAVIER

PRO CONS
Too easy Too difficult (balance issue)
Enemy chasing you till end Level/board design (more obstacles to get around)

PHASE 2

After completing our review of each game we scheduled a second release with a few of our prototypes.

JOHN

PRO CONS
Monster is more interactive with player Loop hole with the coin toss for charging ability
Players can stun each other More interactive in the game

JAVIER

PRO CONS
Player and enemy have hit points No PvP, but it can be possible
If enemy gets player, they attack each other Level design needs more exploration/passages
Enemies can attack each other
Player can pickup weapons an attack for greater damage
Multiple enemies on the field
